Here are the facts:

The BBC think thought that their version of "Perfect Day" was the perfect advertising campaign. Here you will hear how much better it could have been.

Here you can here some of the Fangcave version of Perfect Day. It features Fang, Loff and Yidon all on lead vocals. Lou Reed himself even agreed to do backing vocals!

I have recorded it in Real Audio format now. The .wav file has gone because it was far too enormous.

The .wav was just the chorus. The Real Audio version is the whole song!

If you need the Real Audio Player, you can get it from http://www.real.com. If you haven't got it, I strongly suggest you get it. The player and the sound file combined are smaller than the .wav file was.

There is a reason why the file is called "loofreed" but I am still not telling you what it is. Although I have had emails from people who thought they were really clever because they had worked out that it might have something to do with Lou Reed.

It has been reduced to 8 bit and mono so that I could fit it on. The Webmasters Committee have big plans for the site, and conserving space isn't one of them.

You can have the full file in glorious stereo if you are willing to donate the server space so that everybody can enjoy it.
